I'm not sure how many time I have used the term "Fraud Fighters." It is a constant term on the blog and something I see from other's all the time. About Fraud went so far to develop Fraud Fight Club to help support those in the industry. A close second to this term for me is "Fraud Hunters." My fraud teams all have their own predatory animals (fraud hunting spirit animals) for team logos and mascots, hence Fraud Hunter. The point is that the current inspirational name that we have given ourselves is Fraud Fighters.
So what about those who fight scams specifically? Scams are such a big part of fraud fighting; don't the people who stop them deserve their own title...stop them... Scam Stoppers, there's an idea.
Following the path of Fraud Fighters being an alliteration, Stoppers works with an S. FraudWit has used the term Scam Smashers in the past so there is another. One more that comes immediately to mind is Soldier, but that makes it sound more like the person is on the side of scams. Maybe not that one. Slugger? Let's add that one.
There are plenty of non-alliteration words to use as well. The point of this may not to be create a centralized, universal title like Fraud Fighter. It may be to latch on to the one or ones you find that motivate you in your quest against scams and scammers. Pick some from below or come up with your own term.
